Recipe Renaissance™ is where I share the dishes I’ve actually cooked and enjoyed in my own kitchen. If a recipe didn’t turn out or didn’t taste good, it simply won’t be seen here. I have a soft spot for Italian and Southern American cooking, but truth be told, I’m open to just about any cuisine when the food is prepared with care. Hi, I’m Paul Myrick, an artist and food enthusiast living in Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up in the Deep South (Mississippi) and have also called Arizona, North Carolina, and Colorado home along the way. Creativity has always been part of my life — I love working with photography, watercolor, and design — and those same instincts spill over into the kitchen. While I’m mostly self-taught, I’ve been lucky to learn from wonderful mentors over the years. I also spent many years in information technology, which gave me a technical side that comes in handy with today’s digital art and blogging. This blog is where I get to blend my love for art, good food, and storytelling all in one place.
